Hilton Head Vacation Day 1: A Night on the Beach

We awoke early this morning to complete our travel to Hilton Head, SC. Last night, we arrived at our motel in Mobile around 11 p.m. and we were back on the road by 7 a.m.! After about 9 ½ hours on the road, we arrived and met Chris, Patti, and Cashlin at the Condo.

After we got a quick look around the place, we were on our way to the grocery store to buy food, snacks, and drinks for the week. We also picked up a couple of pizzas from a place called “TJ’s Take and Bake Pizza.” As we walked in, one of the employees asked us if we were familiar with the concept—could someone ask a more confusing question? We replied by stating that we assumed it was just like the sign said, take the pizza and bake it. It was.

After dinner, we decided to take a walk with the doggies to the beach. We had fun and I have pictures. Here are some pictures.
