Hilton Head Vacation Day 2: The Beach and Jellyfish

Today we awoke and Chris made a hardy breakfast of French toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon. After breakfast we took the dogs and Cashlin to the beach. We found a little quicker route than the one we used last night. At the beach, we found a piece of driftwood for the dogs to fetch and threw it into the water. I think Browning had a little too much fun—he got sick from swallowing the salt water.

After we returned to the condo, Mom and Dad went to church (I didn’t have enough time to shower before the service and trust me, I needed to shower). While they were at church, Cashlin took a nap and Chris, Patti, and I watched a movie.

In the afternoon, we returned to the beach—this time to swim. We stayed in the water for a while, but before we were really ready to go Chris got stung by a jellyfish. Cashlin was enjoying the water, so while Chris went to the lifeguard to get a little first aid, Granny stayed with him in the water. That was until Granny got stung by another jellyfish. A storm was coming, so we were quickly ready to go back to the condo.

We took it easy the rest of the day. Mom made jambalaya and root beer sherbet (which I think taste a lot like a frosty) and we just hung out around the condo. Here are our pictures!
